YGSWiki:Community Portal
From YGSWiki
The quickest and easiest way to get involved is to just go to a page that contains information you're interested in and start editing, if you find something there that's incorrect, needs expanding or if you find there's something missing you want to add. However, this technique won't get you recognition for your efforts - only creating an account, logging in and then going to a page to edit it will get you that.
Creating an account gives you a Watchlist of pages you're interested in, so you can find out if any changes have been made to pages you're interested in. It also gives you a quick and easily accessible list of all the contributions you've made to the site, via your own My Contributions page. Finally, any edits you make will have your name on them in the relevant page's History tab and clicking on your name there will take you to a special page where you can tell people about who you are and why you're here, should you want to.
The YGS Wiki runs on volunteer support. It flourishes because people are willing to give up some time to help make information available to others, so we can all benefit from the hard work we've all put in to make the world a better and more accepting place.
If you have information to share, please do so.
